Security company licensing in Wisconsin
Wisconsin Department of Safety and Professional Services (DSPS) licenses security companies here, but we do not yet carry its roster, so we cannot tell you who is on it.
Wisconsin licenses guard firms and detective agencies under one credential type. The licence search can return all 892 agency records in a single response — 493 active — with licence number, city, issue date and status, though one of our two probes was blocked outright, so the path may not be dependable.
Until then, verify a company with the regulator directly, and treat any license number a company gives you as a claim we have not checked.

There is a second license, and in Wisconsin it may be the only one that exists: the guard’s own.
