tessura

For security companies

Cut the HR spend hiding in your bill rate. Keep the margin.

Recruiting against 100 to 400% annual turnover is the most expensive thing a security company does. tessura turns the ads, screening, license tracking, and onboarding binders into software, so you can pay more, bid sharper, and still come out ahead.

Illustrative economics for a typical $40/hr unarmed post. Industry turnover runs 100 to 400% a year, and every replacement (ads, interviews, screening, onboarding, vacancy overtime) lives inside the bill rate today.

A candidate pool built on real credentials

Search guards by state, license type, armed status, availability, and keyword. Invite them to apply to a specific posting. Every applicant arrives with license status attached, so screening starts done.

Your whole roster’s compliance in one view

Invite your team by email or CSV. See every license and its expiry across the company, so a lapsed card never reaches the post. Add teammates so scheduling and HR see the same picture.

Your own assessments, your own leads

Write post-order, client-rule, and policy assessments, assign them to guards or attach them to a job as a screen. Clients submit staffing requests on tessura; the ones in your state, or aimed at you, land in your portal.

Questions people ask

What does it cost?

Nothing during launch: posting, searching, roster tools, assessments, and leads are all free. Premium options (featured postings, larger teams) come later and will be announced in advance; nothing you use today gets paywalled without notice.

How do guards find our postings?

The public job board, job alerts that email subscribers the moment a matching post goes live, city landing pages, and Google for Jobs structured data on every posting.

Can we bring our existing guards?

Yes. Invite them by email or upload a CSV; each guard gets a free account with a wallet, and you see their license status as soon as they add it.

What do clients see about us?

Your public page: services, about text, roster size, state-verified license count, open jobs, and moderated guard reviews. Clients can send a staffing request directly to you from it.

How do we hire for the post, not just the license?

Pick the post type when you post a job (school, hospital, retail, corporate, residential, events, industrial, government) and, if the post warrants it, require tessura’s badge for it. Guards earn a badge by passing a situational-judgment assessment on that exact environment, scored server-side. Filter the guard network by badge, and see badges held and missing on every applicant.
