Do I need an account?

What does "state-verified" mean?
A guard’s license was matched against the official state registry on a specific date. Where a registry cannot be checked automatically, licenses are marked self-reported and we link the official lookup. Details on the verification page.
Can I hire a guard directly?
Yes. The guard network is searchable by state, license, and armed status, and companies (or businesses with a company account) can request a guard’s contact details; the guard decides whether to share them.
Is tessura a security company?
No. tessura is the platform where guards keep credentials and companies hire. We are not a party to any staffing contract and take no cut of it.
