Security company licensing in New Hampshire

New Hampshire Department of Safety, Division of State Police, Permits and Licensing Unit licenses security companies here, but we do not yet carry its roster, so we cannot tell you who is on it.

RSA 106-F requires a security guard agency licence and a $50,000 surety bond, renewed every two years, but the State Police publish only the application form. There is no public register of any kind; verification means contacting the Permits and Licensing Unit.

Until then, verify a company with the regulator directly, and treat any license number a company gives you as a claim we have not checked.

What you can still check

There is a second license, and in New Hampshire it may be the only one that exists: the guard’s own.
