Security company licensing in Connecticut
Connecticut Department of Emergency Services and Public Protection, Special Licensing and Firearms Unit licenses security companies here, but we do not yet carry its roster, so we cannot tell you who is on it.
Conn. Gen. Stat. 29-159 requires an annual published list and DESPP links one with 128 security company records. The published file is dated April 2020 and has not been refreshed since, so it shows who was licensed then, not now. Connecticut's open-data licence feed does not carry DESPP credentials.
Until then, verify a company with the regulator directly, and treat any license number a company gives you as a claim we have not checked.

There is a second license, and in Connecticut it may be the only one that exists: the guard’s own.
